Spring / Mermaid Eye Makeup Tutorial!

Hey guys!  So today I am going to be doing a teal blue spring / mermaid eye makeup tutorial for you guys!  I’m going to be using my Lorac Afterglo pallet that I have been LOVING lately!  You can get it for $18 on the Lorac website if you like!

For this look I took the light brown shade from the pallet and applied it with a fluffy blending brush in and above my crease.  This acts as a transition color between the blues and the brow bone highlight we will be adding later.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil – Cottage Cheese

After that I took my NYX jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese and applied it to my lid to act as a white base for the shadows and make them more vibrant.

Next I took the light turquoise color from the pallet and applied it with a flat shader brush to the lid, making sure to really build up and pack on the color.

Take that same shade on a fluffy blending brush and blend it into the crease.  Because the eye pencil was not applied here, this shadow should look less intense than the shadow on the lid.  Also take that color from the top of the crease strait out creating a smokier cat eye sort of look.

After that you are going to want to take the darker blue color take that in the outer 2/3rds of the crease, the outer V, and also drag it out from the crease and up from the V to mimic the shape of the lighter shadow we applied earlier.

As always make sure you blend!

Finally take the lightest shade from the pallet and highlight your brow bone, apply some mascara, and tada, you are done!
